I am going to do my best to summarize how Sherri got to the ICU at Morton Plant Hospital on Sunday, May 22nd.
Sherri has Rheumatoid Arthritis and was on a particular medicine for this condition. This drug weakens your immune system which can make you susceptible to other infections which is what happened to Sherri, or so we think. Sherri's original diagnosis was PCP (pneumonia) which led to this new condition called ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). They have her on several antibiotics to fight the infection. She is heavily sedated in order to keep her comfortable while on a ventilator. Sherri is in critical but stable condition. She is young and a fighter!!
Please pray for Sherri as well as Bailey and Madison.
